I am creating a solution to migrate several domino based apps from several platforms onto a new single platform in a new Domino domain on a seperate network. The new domain will have a totally new security setup, new users & groups and new ID's for the clients. Cross-certification is NOT allowed.
We have succesfuly migrated some simple teamrooms by resetting the ACL, replicating to the new environment and setting new user access security.
I believe some of the more complex applications to have server names and directory structures 'hard coded' into the design though.
The directory structure I can cope with, but the server name is my issue.
My question is whether it is possible to have the new Notes servers 'masquerade' or 'alias' the existing (Domino) server names so the applications do not have to be completely overhauled.
